Ok i'll be the first to admit i had my doubts about him, but in the last couple of Weeks juwan has really suprised me. hi defense has picked up as has his rebounding. i even Venture to say, his become a key piece for the Rox!

    BTW,I'm sure Tinman agrees with me?:p ;)

I'm not sure he deserves much credit in the Nets game. If the guy could've contributed more than a single FG for 3 quarters, we wouldn't even have to be in OT.

Now, Howard was just on fire in the Mavs game. That was certainly an amazing performance.

i thought he was solid in the 4th quarter the other night. anyhow, his established himself as our starting PF. when you think about it though, it's not like he had any serious Competition? :D

If he can continue to hit that open jumper at the top of the key, then everything else he can do, including rebounding and D is just gravy.

Juwon is a career .471 shooter. He's at .471 this season. He's expected to shoot well, with all the open shots that he gets. Earlier in the season he was just not making them. Howard has always been a decent offensive player. It's about time that he starts to make some contributions to the team.

Mr. Taylor, however, is another story. Come on, Mo, you're supposed to be in your PRIME.

like Juwan said earlier of the season: "you can only do so much in limited time" you can't expect consistant production from a player if he's getting inconsistant PT. I think Taylor's injury in the Mavs' game gave Juwan a chance to show what he can do if given full-time job. if given 36 min/g i think he can give us 16/8 on .465~.475 shooting %

Because he and sura have figured out, don't pass just shoot, if the ball went in, they will become hero or have a career year, if the shots are missed or game lost, so what, the biggest target wiil take the blame, try again next time.

I really like what Howard has brought to the table over these last few games. (I just wanna give props to Cookie Monster really quick for the effort and energy he's been bringing lately too) Juwan is a career 18 and 8 guy and thats on teams where he's used to being the 1st or 2nd option. He was bricking a lot at the start of the season but lately he's been knocking those open jumpers down with consistentcy. If he can continue to hit those open jumpers, I dont see why he cant average a good 13-14ppg. I like how Howard has been playing most of the 1st and 3rd quarters and whoever is hot plays the 4th. The power foward position should be giving use somewhere around 20ppg and 12 rpg on a nightly basis...the Two Headed Monster known as Juwan and Mo!!! haha

He's played well in the last several games, but call him Otis Thorpe yet.
Also, I've told you all along about Sura.

Keep in mind, we played Dallas, not known for their defense and a Richard Jeffersonless Nets teams.

Lets see how Juwan does against Duncan before you guys think he's Michael Jordan.

You figure that's not really a hard shot especially for a professional basketball player who gets paid millions.

For Gods sake, Charles Oakley can hit that shot.

Like FAOS said, Howard's elbow jumper is huge for this team. He really opens up the offense by making that. And he is working well in the high pick and rolls with Tmac.

I want to see Howard's minutes increase to around 30mpg and see Taylor's decrease to around 15mpg.

Props to Juwan, I have been wondering where his game went this year, he is a former all-star who is 18/8 player his whole career so it was a mystery to me where his game went. Glad it has come around because he might be our PF until his contract expires, I would prefer an 8ppg/12RB guy on this team but 18/8 is not bad for a starting PF.

    To Tinman:

Well I was wondering how long this could go on, on and on
Well I thought I could never be surprised
But could it be that I bit my own tongue

You sure don't have much respect for other players lately. So now these "scrubs" don't want Yao to have any glory?

I totally disagree! His defense is very weak! Yao gave up some rb to him! he has no rotation at all! we need a D-PF first, JH could be bench player

He has been stepping up the past few games since JVG has put Mo on the bench and relied only on Howard mainly. I don't know if that just gave him the confidence to step up or just makes him a bit more relaxed knowing that he is the guy right now.

He has to continue it though for me to fully support him playing all of the minutes at the 4

The last 2 games Juwan has been outstanding. I hope he is finally finding his niche with the Rockets.I really don't care who plays the 4 as long as they perform. It may be like the point guard position was during the championship years, whomever has the hot hand will get the minutes you can't have an all star at every position.
