A Q: HaKeem and Rox could still win if Jordan did not quit in 1994?

Here is the excuse that Bulls fans use against our brilliant record against the Bulls: everything changes in the post season. It's one of those that is just tough to agrgue against. Not because it has any merit, but because its a comeback that is totally subjective that causes an arguement to last forever.

Both the 94 and 95 teams were special because of the chemistry that we enjoyed. I think the 95 team was better simply because we had the one two punch, however the 94 team had more weapons in maxwell and thorpe. I think both teams would have beat chicago, because our perimeter D could slow down jordan and pippen, but their inside D could not slow down the Dream.

The Bulls beat the Suns and Barkley, the Magic and Shaq, the Knicks and Ewing, the Jazz and Malone. People here really like to overstate how much Chi struggled against teams with big men.

Even if Maxwell picks a fight with Jordan, Jordan knock the **** out of Maxwell, and because his super star treatment, only maxwell is going to get thrown out. Jordan stays on the court and we lost Maxwell's offense.

Hakeem gets 40 plus points a game...

    But GOD is too powerful...

Maxwell would have held his cool. And would have dropped 35 footers like it was hot.

Vernon Maxwell was the greatest non-Muslim Rocket to have ever lived. He's a hero , humanitarian, and gentlemen to the ladies.

    Houston's Best!

You gotta ask non Rockets fans this if you want an honest answer. But we'll never know for sure. All we have is facts. The facts say:

    1. The Rockets didn't win til Jordan left
    2. The Rockets stopped winning when Jordan came back

    In other words: Bulls win.

Well I was looking at full seasons. Jordan came back in March to a whole new team that had already adjusted to playing without him, so they had to adjust some. His first FULL season back they went ape on the NBA and won 72. UNSTOPPABLE.

This proves nothing...they also happened to pick up Dennis Rodman that year, who turned out to be the perfect complement to Jordan and Pippin. And in the 93-94 and 94-95 seasons, they didn't even have Horace Grant.

It's quite possible that Jordan would have run out of gas at some point anyways....

Throw in all the stats in the world, it doesn't really matter. The Rockets of 94, 95 team found a way to deal with all kinds of adversity. That team ALWAYS found a way to win. That team would have still won it all. They probably could have put an all-star on the floor, the Rockets still would have won:) ;) .

    The NBA is about matchups.
Maxwell guarded M.J. better than anyone else.
Dream and O.T. would have controlled the inside at both ends.

Well we can throw out all the "probably's" and "would have's" that we want, but the point is:

    Bulls: 6 rings
    Rockets: 2 rings

This is a dumb argument because they never faced each other in the Finals.

This is what if "Andre the Giant" fought the "The Big Show"
