More and more I wonder how much of everyone's sour feelings about Van Gundy stem from the sour look on his face. I have a friend who looks like he's frowning all the time. His wife had a baby a year or so ago, and you can see from the kid's face that the frown is basically genetic, a fluke of how the skin fits on the skull. I wonder if you could tell the difference between what Rudy says from courtside and what Van Gundy says from courtside if you only had the transcript with no video or audio. Maybe it's the same thing, but with a frown.
I don't think he could talk about him cause that is tampering. They do have tampering in the NBA, right.
Interesting angle. I did not look at it that way. Coming to think about it it looks his brother looks that way too. On a lighter note, Louis Van Gaal, Coach Van Chancellor, Marc Van Dameer[??] and a few other vans I know out there look that way. The only thing that knocks down this elementary logic is that Van in Dutch language means "of". In all solid observation as always Will.
