    :) that's right!!!

Credit JVG for being flexible here. You coach the talent you have on the court. They have better offensive players than they did before. After the Jim Jackson funeral and the Boki Nachbar Rockets Hall of Fame Induction, I didn't realize fans here would be able to see past their prejudices to give Van Gundy time to let this team put it together. They've put it together, at least in some fashion, quicker than I anticipated.

Ya, i must admit that after these past 10 or so games I have seen van gundy totally alter his offense from the beginning of the season. Its amazing to see this offensive explosion after how flat we started out this season, but I think its due to van gundy and his will to adjust. Kudos to jeff!!!

Flip Flopping (Multiple Personality Disorder) is typical for die hard rabid fans. We are haters when we stumble and lovers when we rumble, just because we are are passionate.

I yell at the TV when we do stupid and I jump around shouting when we slap teams around.

It's like me and my brother, I can hit him and cut him down, but don't let anyone else try it or the fight is on.

When you love your team you hurt a little more when they are bad. You don't jump on and off the bandwagon, you just have a miserable ride when they stink and you don't mind expressing your frustration.

Then why don't you marry him...:p

Just kidding. I've been a critic of JVG but I'll give him his due. He's done the one thing I didn't expect him to do and that nothing in his previous history indicated he would do which is adapt his game to the players he has rather than stick to his grind it out offense.

Hi. My name is JBC, and I am a flip-flopper. I have not had a flip-flop for one day, now.

Because they never practiced it last year according to Steve Francis. At least it seems that they are practicing it this year which is a plus for JVG. I still do not like his personality though. He has to remember that he is representing our city. We show a lot of hospitality down here. Rudy showed it. He does not. Oh well before I get busted by many, I'll give him his props for making a big improvement. I won't say that nothing matters but winning. It is a huge part however, and it looks like we will be winning a lot more now.

Come on, JVG is not in charge of Houston hospitality, he in charge of running a basketball team.

Personally, I like hardnose no BS coaches like JVG.

Just remember he is a basketball coach and I would rather have him than a super personable guy, not talking about Rudy, with no results.

Point is he is getting results and it shows on the floor, I could care less what he’s like.

I saw this bullsh!t coming from people like you, and that is why I included the following in my original post:

" Oh well before I get busted by many, I'll give him his props for making a big improvement."

I aknowledged the "point" that he is getting results. That does not mean I do not have the right not to like his personality.

    LOL!

COME ON DADAKOTA!! Say it! SAY IT BEFORE I BEAT IT OUT OF U!!;)

Come on man, be fair, give credit when due, I told you that you have to be patient in another thread before, patience is a virtue that you donot enjoy, I understand that:p

Now, be a gentleman, and acknowledge you were, and still are, wrong, and that you will let go of the past and come in from the cold (that being that SF era);)

I am sure myself and others on the board will forgive you and accept you back in, give you a warm meal, and pray for your salvation:D

Not only that people will still not like the guy because they watch queer eye for the straight guy and think he needs a makeover.

Its not just about basketball with some of these guys, its about the way he parts his hair.

Hopefully we can continue to play like this for the rest of the season.

I'll give credit when credit is due, and JVG has done a good job in changing the team from a Yao-oriented offense to a TMac-oriented offense.

But I would rather have the thread title be "I LOVE Tracy McGrady." The guy has been unbelievable lately. Averaging 35ppg in the last 5 games and 30ppg the last 13, or something like that.

The offense is rolling right now because of TMac. He is imposing his will almost everytime and it either results in a bucket for TMac or a set up shot for a teamate.

Ha ha ha, oh man, I just choked on my Dr Pepper. It is funny how a couple months ago this board was ready to publicly execute JVG and CD Mussolini-style and now those two guys are looking pretty smart.

Van Gundy is doing a better job playing to his players strengths instead of trying to force them to play outside their comfort zones. He's starting to realize he doesn't have a smash-mouth type banging half court team so he's opening the game up some. The Rox are a veteran savy finese team & it seems like VG is starting to realize that.
