This started a couple of days ago with some pages on ESPN, but now I can't get to CF.net. Everytime I try to get to CF.net I get a window that says "you have chosen to open to open index.cfm" Then it ask me what should Firefox do with the file, open with or save to disk. No matter what I chose, I can't open the page. Any one know how to fix this?
i had that problem on ESPN on the MLB link this past weekend/ i really don't know why i did or why it just went away. try deleting your cookies and rebooting.
yep, there is a thread...probably on the 2nd or 3rd page regarding this. Starting happening to us a week or so ago.
Did anyone ever figure out what the problem was? I know I sure didn't. If nothing else, you might try uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, but I doubt that will help much (although it did help with a beta version of Firefox I was using)
it just started happening on my computer about 10 minutes ago. everything was working fine before then. any new info?
I just tried to install Firefox on my work pc, but get this message when attempting access any website. "The connection was refused when attempting to contact <website>" I didn't want to start another thread of these were related.
I had that problem....I clicked open with and searched for Firefox and clicked it....After that happened I haven't had that problem again. I dont know if that fixed it or if I am just lucky but maybe that can help
I had this and fixed it by disabling the ZoneLab TrueVector Internet Monitor in the services. This remembered what was and what wasn't allowed to run, and FF wasn't in their list. I stopped it, rebooted the machine, and it got rid of that msg. FF rocks.
