Make sure you enable either WAP or MAC address filtering unless you want people stealing your bandwith. It really does happen, and quite often.
timewarners wireless sucked...in austin at least we ended up using our own router (linksys) after we used theirs for a month...good luck
Just add an Access point like I do now I can plug in both cable modem or wireless with laptop. $48 for access and $19 for laptop adaptor.
It's set up. Seems faster-- even through the usual afernoon lull. One big problem: my printer won't work. Any ideas as to how or why this would happen?
It used to be plugged up to the computer. To get an answer to that question, though, I'll have to get a flashlight and kneepads. That guy better not have unplugged my printer and left me printless.... well, in fact, he has left me printless. I called RoadRunner and they handed me off to HP who is now closed for the evening.
