    The Rockets will be turning back the clock to 1971 next Tuesday 1/18 when they take on the Indiana Pacers at Toyota Center. Tuesday's game will mark the first of four retro games this year, which the Rockets will don their inaugural uniforms in Houston.

    The players won't be the only ones going old school. The entire game presentation will be done 70's style, Midnight Star will be performing at halftime, hot dogs will only be $1, and there will be commemorative T-shirts given out at the door to anyone dressed in 70's clothes.

    As if this wasn't enough, Tuesday is also a Guys Night Out game, in which two (2) tickets, two (2) hot dogs, two (2) beers (or sodas), and two (2) Rockets Koozies, start at only $52! Packs are flexible and tickets can be ordered in any quantity.

    I cant believe this is almost here. I look forward to this game all season and I'm very glad that we will have four of them.
    Im kind of dissapointed that I havent seen too much appareal for sale yet, but the Rockets always do a good job with these and they are soo much fun.
    I'm so excited I pulled up Midnight Star on my jukebox. I hope they break out the "Robot Cam" or some other 70's style dance cam ("Bump Cam", etc.).
    I plan to wear my retro uni (if I can find one) and an afro wig.

    If you havent been to a Hardwood Classics Game yet, this is definately an event I recommend not to miss!!!

    Too bad the jersey i wanted to buy has been backordered since December and is not supposed to ship until the second half of January but i don't think it will. They keep changing it each week lol.

    Fantastic. I can't say I'll dress in 70's attire, but I'll be there for the $1 dollar hotdogs alone!

    Yea, Im quite surprised I cant find these yet. Im wondering if they will make some authentics. It would be nice to know if any other appareal will be available. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
