ESPN Power Rankings: Rox #15

15 is fair. we are a .500 team and 15 is middle of the road in the league.


i wouldve liked rudy to stay but it's in the past and we have to look to the future if we want championships.

 

Anyone else notice Rudy is 2-0 vs. Clippers and 15-14 otherwise?
Anyone else notice Rudy is 2-0 vs. Bucks and 15-14 otherwise?
Anyone else notice Rudy is 2-0 vs. Nuggets and 15-14 otherwise?
Anyone else notice Rudy is 3-0 vs. Hornets and 14-14 otherwise?


What's the point ESPN? Not all information means something.

 

Old Rockets coach versus his team for the past 30+ years doesnt mean something?

I guess it means something to me, but if it doesnt, ESPN makes big things of random stats anyway

It means that the Lakers are currently IN the playoff picture, whereas, we are not.

very true but we knew that before espn told us rudy is 2-0 against us.

 

The point is the way they state the sentence, ESPN is trying to say "hey, there's something to Rudy T being awesomely undefeated against the Rockets and he's ONLY 15-14 against the rest of the L."

I'm saying "hey ESPN, that stat is meaningless at this point some stop trying to pull stuff out of your ass and make a legit point next time." I know it's knit picking, but hey, Marc Stein is getting payed to write these things, so he at least should try to write something worthwhile.

 

ESPN Rankings never really mean anything, but certainly when we are playing .500 ball it means jack.

 

TMac & Sura did not play in the first LA-Rockets game. If they had played, the outcome might have been different.
