Just to be fair, most defenders realized Mo's post moves, so they backed off to give him the shot if it's 15' out.

I don't have a big problem with Mo on offensive end, his problem is his defense, especially defending the players without ball. He just doesn't look like he was able to keep an eyn on both the ball & the player at the same time, hence let opposite PF crash the board a lot. Maybe he wasn't told right when he was in high school?

Mo and Ho. I'd keep both, if only for the fact, that they both have been so miserable and we'll need to ride the hot hand, if it ever happens, in the playoffs.

The real question, who hits the front of the rim with more accuracy, Mo Taylor or Howard. It's like a competition out there.

I guess that his advantage on offense - quickness - is negated by his sub-par defense

    - agreed

Unfortunately, he is not going anywhere. Who do you think will take him with such a bad contract?

I've been very dissappointed with Mo as well. What bugs me most about him is his lack of hustle. He always seems like he's just chillin' out there and cruising, rather than busting ass and working hard. I can't recall the last time I saw him dive or even really go hard after a loose ball. What hurts us more is his mentality and lack of enthusiasm. Howard is out there trying hard at least. I agree that we desperately need to get rid of Mo!!

What I don't understand is how he can be such an explposive dunker on fast breaks and then be such a weaker dunker on put backs.

We thought Yao had problems bringing the ball down after a rebound. Mo really needs to work on this.

Plus, he seems afraid to be fouled. Go strong to the hole, man. No more of this reverse layup crap that rarely works anyways.

I'd trade Howard before I'd trade Mo. But I'd like to see the both of 'em go.

That would be a dream come true.

Well Howard is doing a better job of fitting in, but Mo is younger. Mo's contract is for more money, but Howard's lasts longer

and after seeing Camby and Nene throw up all those bricks last night, I think that one of these guys (Mo or Jo) would be good to have as a scorer, but as for which one to keep, its a mess that I don't have a solution for

I would keep MoT and dump JHow, if possible. MoT is decent when he isn't rumored to be traded and gets some more PT.

Like others said, JHow is older and his contract is longer. I'd keep MoT and see if we can pick up another PF that is in the mold of Nene.

hes a fat pothead----one play that typifies Mo's effort and talent is last night when he had Melo in front of him ---instead of taking it at him (being only 2 steps away from the hoop)...fatboy opted for the reverse layup attempt which failed miserably---ive never liked him

look, you can blame JVG for a lot of things, but not this. Mo T has ALWAYS settled for the jumper - even when he can beat his man off the dribble. THat is why he has never averaged more than 4-5 rebounds a game - he is too far away from the basket on offense and doesn't get good position on defense. He did the same thing in LA

I'd give New Jersey our first round pick next summer, top 5 protected, to take MoT off our hands in return for their Trade Exception. We could pick up a very good free agent next summer via sign and trade if we were armed with an 8+ million TE.

He's not clearing enough space on any of his post moves this year. His post game simply isn't effective. So while I agree he's taking more jumpers, fact of the matter is, maybe he should be. He's getting blocked on post moves. He's forced to throw up hope and prayer hots on post moves. And it's not getting any better. This has just been a dismal year for Mo T.

mo and Jho need to go...but lets just get started with baby steps....

i don't think that either will be traded this season unless we use our pick. this summer the first PF traded might actually be spoon. he will be in his last lear of his contract.
