I think they just had temporary server problems last night (I couldn't get on either at that time). There were a couple of other times over the past month or so where I was unable to connect to their server. ------------------

Anyone know what's going on with Scour Exchange? (similar to napster, except you can download video and images as well as songs). Their server has been down for a few days now. ------------------

Napster is going to court today (Monday, 10/2) again. The recording industry is asking the 9th Circut Court of Appeals to reinstate the ban on Napster http://www.msnbc.com/news/471169.asp Two interesting things from this article: 1) The survey -- 90,000 people surveyed, 90% against shutting the site down. 2) Congress has now gotten involved. Senator Orrin Hatch sent a letter to the appeals court saying that a brief filed by the Justice Department and its copyright office siding with the recording industry did not represent the opinion of lawmakers. ------------------ Stay Cool...
