Okay Yao lovers lets face it Yao is the tallest player in the league.
Van Gundy play calling has nothing to do with the fact he may never average ten rebounds a game and three block shots. Yao is a slow jumper and cannot jump over the phone book and has relatively short arms for his height. Yao could never get the number of touches as T-Mac because he cannot create his own shot. On the bright side no need to trade Yao he is the second best center in the league and other teams would love to have him. However, just because he is the second best center in the league that doesn't mean he is a franchise. If I was 7 inches taller I could be the second best center in the league with guys thats playing these days. We need that second dominant scorer to go with T-Mac and make Yao a third option and then he will prosper with so much pressure being taking off of him. Yao makes me so upset with the number of shots he blocks, as sorry as Shawn Bradley is he is a hell of better shot blocker than Yao and as sorry as our guards or other teams penetrate the middle all day to go over Yao like he is 5'8. This is truth like or love it.

Yao has already been the 3rd option, he's averaging only 12.7 shoot attempts per game.

btw, if you were 7 inches taller, I wonder if you coud run the court by yourself without falling to the floor.

I dont know if you should go as far as calling it the truth... The fact that you say he is the second best center in the NBA and then say he should be the 3rd option doesnt add up for me... A player in his 3rd year that is almost at 20ppg doesnt sound like a player that should be a 3rd option to me...sounds like talent that we should develop...

I thought Bradley is a little bit taller, so he should be the 2nd best center. But let see, hmm who's the next tallest in the league? He should be the 3rd best, and so on

And I forgot to mention, the shortest guy in this league should be the best point guard too. The 2nd best would be a little bit taller, and so on.

It would be kind of hard to find a second option if we’re paying Yao max money to be a 3rd option.

Yao almost average 20 points a game. Almost only counts with hangernades and horseshoes. Didn't say Bradley was a better center but a better shot blocker. Height should mean alot in basketball its' suppose to be a bigmans game so no shortest guy in the league wouldn't be the best point. By me saying Yao is the second best center in the league there are no centers not the second best player. In the sea of sh--! Who cares what turd floats to the top. Guys what makes Yao so soft is I hear women saying he is weak or lazy or slow, when you're professional athlete women should never be able to notice that. Its' suppose to be a mans game not women making a assessment that Yao is as soft as toilet tissue.

If I EVER had to get scouting reports from women about SPORTS and then had the audacity to cite them as vital information, i'd take out the 9mm and end my life right there.

We need a 4 who can defend, rebound, shotblock and hit the outside jumper consistently. Yao 's job might become a little easier and enable him to improve.

if Yao was 7 inches taller he'd be the second best center in the league too, maybe even #1.

    This I highly highly doubt......

A 3rd year player who's nearly averaging 20 points a game on a limited number of FGA's should probably be at least a number 2 option on offense, especially given the rockets current personnel.
