I just upgraded yesterday to Time Warner's Digital Cable and I have to honestly say that it is pretty nice. And I am not just saying that because I work for the company. I actually work in the Customer Service Dept. taking calls from dis-satisfied customers ranging from cable outages to disfunctional cable equipment including digital boxes. I guess what I am trying to figure out is what is everyone's overall opinion on TW's Digital service? So far, as an employee, I am satisfied with my service, but are you? ------------------
I am satisfied. It's cool they added the Sundance Channel to the Basic Digital pack. There are some cool indie films on there. Encore too. They changed the menu system yesterday though and I don't like it. Before you could see the summary of a show without covering the entire screen but now they cover the whole screen with ads for pay per view films just to see the summary. I really hate it.
cc...my folks got it a couple of weeks ago. Apparently it was only a few bucks more a month than regular cable. The picture is much clearer plus you have a gazillion channels to choose from rather than just half a million. My folks like it alot, but I think they are still trying to figure out the new remote that comes with it. ------------------ I am the b*stard son of LHutz. Huh? Right!
I think it's great. I am perfectly satisfied with it. ------------------ I am so exasperated that I could expectorate.
