Did you mean Ferarri Modena? If so, good luck trying to squeeze 4 20's in the back of that thing. [IMG]

4 20's? How are you not going to get pulled over with that system? You are going to have to buy a HUGE amp(s), and that is an understatement. 4 20's is the kind of system you put in a Hummer Limo. Good luck trying to hear anything the next day [IMG]

    Juan,
I agree...SUV's can be BIG, and a gas casualty. But the SUV I bought, the Xterra, actually gets decent gas mileage.

I need the SUV for my mountain bike and road bike. I bike about three times a week, more if I can help it, and have had bad luck with car racks. The Xterra happened to have an optional interior bike rack that holds two or three bikes, and still allows them to be in the interior of the vehicle.

Plus, I like the space, and the extra height and visibility.

    I'll tell you why Juan...

I like to be at or near the top of the food chain.

I try to be a careful driver, but it's "the other guy" that you have worry about. I don't mind paying a little extra to have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that "the other guy" has to worry that if he gets in a wreck with me, he better be driving a Kenworth if he doesn't want to get squashed.

Exactly. I would feel a lot safer in an F150 then I would in a regular car. Being able to see over everyone has it's advantages too.

Of course this isn't "normal", but I was rear-ended by a Bronco once. I drove a Toyota Camry. The front end of the Bronco was destroyed and the radiator was spewing fluid everywhere... my Camry had to have the bumper realigned. It's not just how big your truck is that matters, it's the "angle of incidence".

I doubt I'd ever want some of these "monster trucks" and SUV's that people drive. I like to have some fun when I drive and I just can't see myself having too much fun in a monster truck unless there was some dirt or a truck pull involved. [IMG]

BTW--great picture Jeff, I loved my Toyota 4X4--it just wasn't roomy enough for me.

I thought I'd add my own picture--this might irk Juan even more

18 wheelers are the worst thing on the road. especially for anybody saying its the other driver you have to worry about. track record, especailly in Houston, has shown that it isnt the other driver, but the driver of these big rigs that are the ones that we have to worry about. But that is just my opinion. Anyway, everything has its benefits and its drawbacks. Sure, bigger cars tend to be safer when "someone else" runs into you, but they cant corner as well, usually drive poorer and have other drawbacks. Ill stick with the M3, if I can ever afford it, and just be quick enought to get out of the other persons way [IMG]
