All the yao-bashers look at this. During last game, Yao's efficiency is the highest in Rockets and also higher than Amare's. Player MIN EFF Y. Ming 28 +21 T. McGrady 42 +16 J. Barry 24 +15 D. Mutombo 17 +15 D. Wesley 33 +11 J. Howard 27 +10 M. Taylor 21 +8 B. Sura 24 +5 A. Barrett 21 +4 S. Padgett 3 0 R. Bowen DNP -- R. Gaines DNP -- Player MIN EFF S. Marion 36 +30 J. Johnson 39 +22 Q. Richardson 45 +21 S. Nash 37 +20 C. Jacobsen 20 +13 A. Stoudemire 37 +10 S. Hunter 21 +9 J. Voskuhl 5 +1 L. Barbosa DNP -- M. Lampe DNP -- B. Outlaw DNP -- J. Vroman DNP --
If Yao was so efficient, why shouldn't he be more assertive and aggressive? He would have contributed more to the team and stolen a win for us.
and Yao only fans think Yao is perfect...can do no wrong...and is the most untradeable commodity ever.
efficiency formula: ((Points + Rebounds + Assists + Steals + Blocks) - ((Field Goals Att. - Field Goals Made) + (Free Throws Att. - Free Throws Made) + Turnovers))
A typical Yao-hater's question. You should ask this to Van Gundy. It is the coach who decides how many minutes a player can play. Just a fact, yao had no TO last night, while Amare had 6 TO last night.
that's just one game. This is for the season.... Player Games EFF 4. Amare Stoudemire 32 26.91 31. Yao Ming 31 19.35
Package Yao and MoTay for a superstar, then everything will be set. No more Yaoonlyfans, no more Yaobashers.
The fact is no matter how well yao played, he won't get any respect from neither the coach nor the fans. May it is the right time for him to leave. Nobody in Rockets is playing well this year. Someone has to become a scapegoat and Rockets and its fans have the long tradition to bash their franchaise players. I have seen enough of this in the past three years.
That's really weird. Cause I know that I saw Sura toss a pass to a wide-open Yao under the basket, I saw the pass hit Yao in the hands, and then go out of bounds. I think they even replayed it. And yet looking at the official box score, neither player is credited with a single turnover? Yao didn't play much last night because Deke had an outstanding game. He came in and really did a phenomenal job on the boards, on defense, being agressive, diving to the floor at 58 years old or whatever he is. You really have to tip your hat to the guy. And since there's only once center spot, and neither guy would be effective at PF, JVG did the right thing and rewarded Mutumbo with more minutes. He was a real difference-maker.
this "yao-hater vs. YOF" is making me sick. who had never loved Dream one minute and question his shot selection the next? i find it hard to believe to just criticize a 7'6" center who has played basketball NON STOP for at least the past 3 years when he is STILL one of the best centers in the NBA. and i also find it hard to think Yao cannot be held accountable for anything wrong either. efficiency stats? one botched pass? c'mon! it's ridiculous
