That is scary. Just yesterday a student was shot outside of my old high school- which is located in a Seattle suburb. Some kids in a Mustang staged a car crash with some other car. The driver of the Mustang got out and shot the other driver in the ankle. A 30 to 50 person fight followed. Probably gang related. This was just ten minutes after school ended. The schools are closed for today. This story is just crazy ... the two kids shoot each other with the same gun?? 13 year old shoots 15 year old in the chest ... 15 year old 'obtains' the gun and shoots the 13 year old in the back? ZRB, Think this shooting at your school had anything to do with the shooting last weekend in Seattle (wasn't there like 4 kids shot?). And wasn’t there another shooting a few days before that? I thought I read about something like that on line. Man, I guess I'm really starting to feel old. Anyone else over the age of 30 have any violence like this in school? My old school is about 21 miles south of Seattle, so I doubt that the two shootings are connected. Tuesday September 26 1:40 PM ET Students Shot at New Orleans School By ALAN CLENDENNING, Associated Press Writer NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Gunfire erupted at a middle school Tuesday, critically injuring two students, authorities said. The shooting took place shortly before noon at Carter G. Woodson Middle School in uptown New Orleans, said David Bowser, a police spokesman. Both students appeared conscious when were taken by ambulances to Charity Hospital, Bowser said. There was no immediate word on suspects. Bowser said there had been several fights reported at the school in the past few weeks. It was unclear whether the shooting was related to the fights. More than 100 parents rushed to the school and lined up outside as officials let small groups enter the building to get their children.
