Man , you got to love the Onions Defense.LOL. I have a little story to share with you guys. My nephew is a recent UT grad about to go to Med school, I started him in Chinese WUSHU when he was 4, I joined the Airforce, he and his family moved to Victoria, Tx. My nephew hooked up with his Sifu in Victoria, his Sifu is a pretty good martial artist, been teaching Wushu for years and my nephew is his #1 student (I guess I had something to do with it ). This happened a few years ago, my nephew and his Sifu left their studio after class one night, on their way home They hit what appeared to be a bed of 6" long nails. all their tires blew out. They called for tow and anticipated trouble because that was a pretty rough part of town. They waited for about 30 mins and sure enough a bunch of thugs appeared about 10 to 15 strong , all Hispanics. They were armed with bats, knives and tire irons. My nehew & his Sifu took out their 9 section Steel Whips. The Steel Whip is a real cool Wushu weapon: the tip is a solid piece of steel shaped like a bullet about 5'' long connects to a series of chains. The whip can fit into the palm of your hand when folded, but unleash in the hands of experts it make a nasty sound and it creates a wide circle. Both my nephew and his Sifu got their Whips going pretty good, now the thugs are hesitating, one of them threw his knife towards my nephew but it was bounced immediately and sparks was flying. One of the thugs decided to charge the Sifu with his bat, the Whip pierced the thug's arm holding the bat while the other Whip(he was using the double Whip) pierced the thug's cheekbones and droppped him to the ground. Now all the thugs was just running scared, they all disappeared, my nephew and his Sifu were okay. When he told me what happened, I asked him was he scared? He said he was scared sh*tless, but what can you do in that situation, either fight or die! I was glad none of the thugs was packing heat or else the outcome could have been different.
This story made the thread worth while to read through. Man, a real life kung-fu story. This stuff never happens to me ,well, maybe it's because I don't know any kung-fu and plus, I'm a big pu$$y. I'm a lover, not a fighter. Actually my loving skills is not that good either so........oh wait, what are we talking about?
ima_drummer2k has consistently shown in this thread why he is one of my all-time favorite posters and one of the best on this board. You rule, dude!
Everytime I look at this I still laugh!! My wife just looked at the picture, and her reaction was "WTF!!!"
i still think this picture: would be so much more ganster if they had the pom poms on like they did in this picture (below).
