Wow, it seems as if the Suns gave Zarko away. In the brief time he played last year (before the broken wrist), he appeared to have a nice shooting touch, and brought energy to the court. At 6'11", I would have liked to see him on our roster, especially at a cost of 2 future 2nd round picks

It's a good move for the Warriors if he is fit but I wonder if his wrist injury had anything to do with it.
I like his energy and ability to drive to the basket.

I like those attributes as well, which is why I would have liked to see him in a Rockets uniform. The only question is, does he rebound?

Given the Warriors have Murphy, Foyle, Dunleavy, Najera, etc...,
there doesn't seem to be much need for him at Golden State, but again, the cost to acquire him was minimal.

Didn't the Rockets just trade away Cabarkapa's clone?

Why would they want a worse version of Boki back?

    Zarko > Boki.

Cabarkapa is a good all-around player who can come in and help a team right away. He is a lot more NBA ready now than Boki was in his second year in the league. I think that he has a chance to develop into a starter caliber player in this league. Two second round picks? This is a steal for the Warriors.

Bay Rock,Zarko is a poor rebounder.
Codell, his highest point production in a game is 17 before he got hurt. I think he is better than Boki.

Another Suns player who I find interesting is Lampe. He can rebound fairly well, can face up and shoot. But I'm not sure if he works hard enough. I don't think they will give him up because he might be able to develop into a center/forward for them in the future.
I would appreciate any feedback about him.

if we are picking through the trash-bin of the Suns bench, I'd have taken Stephen Hunter who was available for free this year and is sort of a poor-man's Cato, but would've been an asset for us, IMO.

Don't the Bulls owe us 2 2nd rounders? If so, we could've given those to the Suns and they wouldn't have had to wait till 2009 to get one of them.

Good trade for the Warriors. Cabarkapa may have lost some of his no fear game after the injury, but if he gets it back he could still be a headache for opposing teams. He was looking really promising before the injury.

As to the Boki comparison......eh. Different styles. If Boki had Zarko's toughness, he'd have been more of a JVG fav. Boki's more like Kukoc lite.
