We can't score 100 and can't hold Jazz under 80 either. So no Big Mac for the fans....:(

You can get a free Big Mac with your ticket stub if the Rox score 100 or hold their opponent under 80. The crowd was booing because JVG wouldn't let Barrett shoot the final shot.

No kidding. 99-80 is usually a score the fans would love to see, but it's just about the worst outcome possible at the Toyota Center.

If the Rox score 100+ or hold the opponent under 80, you can take you ticket stub to McDonald's the next day for a free Big Mac.

I didn't collect mine yesterday, though. Why couldn't it be a quarter pounder with cheese? (Or, as my date asked, why couldn't it be a salad?)

We are now officially ABOVE .500!!!! We have won 10 out of our last 14, and are scoring 90+ on a regular basis now. This team could still very easily win 50 games, and considering the slow start that isn't too shabby.

Who ever thought that TMac could have a bad shooting night, and Yao wasn't himself, yet we still scored 99??? On a JVD team?? What is the world coming to...lol.:D

This is the team I've been waiting for all year long.

Would you guys be satisfied with our current roster or would you still want to trade for another point guard and a PF?

That was a pretty exciting game. The 3rd Quarter was easily the best quarter of basketball the Rockets have played all season.

Sura was unreal all game. 24 pts, 10 rebs or so. We had what, 24 points or so off turnovers? Bob gave us 5 steals...

The offense really cooked in the 3rd, everyone was hitting their shots, even Wesley, some nice unselfish play all around. But the real story was the defense... it was brutal. Wesley finally gives us a really good perimeter defender and Sura was harrassing and hustling for four quarters. Even the refs were kind tonight!

Over the hump! Thanks for getting us past .500, Sloan! Ya b****!! Ha ha!

The only bad spot on the floor tonight was Mo Taylor. I remember last year the guy was damn near unstoppable one-on-one; these days he sems to trip over himself to brick or turn it over. He's playing ugly out there, and he was dripping frustration tonight. Howard did pretty well tonight, though.

Shame Reece Gaines blew his big shot... :( ;)

I would try and package our 1st rounder + Mo for a decent PF.

I don't know if another guard is what this team needs right now. We definitely need to address the PF position though.

friggin' pathetic. 97 points with 3:21 to go and they can't get the big mac. when they got 97, my first thought was the big mac should be easy today since neither team is trying anymore. but then my second thought was we'll screw it up. of course we let barrett, bowen, and gaines (aka the worst shooter ever) shoot so we had no chance.

99-80, the largest deficit possible without getting the big mac.

on a good note, at least we actually threaten the big mac range and actually get it some times these days. we push it more, involve yao and tmac more, and just flow better. jvg still has a LONG way to go before i think he's worth keeping and before i can stand his constant sour puss ways, but consistently good offense like we've been seeing will help. of course, we just finished up an easy month and played a really bad team so that helps.

and man am i starting to love sura. from the second he got here, i liked that he pushed it, chased down rebounds, and just seemed to bring energy in general along with decent play. now he's kept it up and seems to be getting better. not the perfect point guard for us but he gets the most out of his skills he can and is nice to have on the court.

I like Howard, though I wouldn't mind getting another PF and possibly trading Mo. Mo is nice, but to inconsistent. Wesley has done a fine job at the PG spot, so I wouldn't mind if the Rockets got a quality backup PG. Lue wasn't the answer, though I think Ward would have been a fine backup if he hadn't gotten injured. We need a good backup PG and probably bruiser at the PF spot, someone like Dale Davis, coming off the bench.

I was at the last game so I got free Big Macs. Haven't had one in a very long time. The Rockets did their fans a favor. Big Macs suck big time. They should switch to free chicken nuggets or something.

    RM,

I agree with everything you said.

But Wesley isn't playing PG. Hes playing SG. :)
