I feel sorry for you, Max. You should watch an all new episode of "The George Lopez Show". One of the funniest and most original sitcoms of all time.
I am not sure if it was supposed to be for 4 seasons but I recall reading in a tv/movie magazine it was going to go for about 2-3 at least. Most shows have this little stop during december because of the holidays most people will be spending time with families or on vacation so ratings as a whole tend to drop a bit. I cant wait for it to come back Jan 5th. www.lost-tv.com is a pretty good site with a forum on theories and all for anyone that is a fan
My wife and I REALLY like The Amazing Race. It is a "reality" show of sorts, but the scenery, seeing Americans bumble about in foreign countries, and seeing the interactions between teammates and teams is very engaging. I highly recommend it.
I watch "Two and half men" and "Scrubs", because their freaking hilarious. Sitcom isn't dead quite yet.
i was hoping for your pity!! i just can't find any show that i find really engaging. maybe it's that the details of my life preoccupy me away from shows that i would otherwise enjoy. but they seem to pale in comparison to other things i could be doing with my time.
I'm there with you, Max. I cherrypick movies from Turner Classic Movies on my Tivo. Otherwise, if I'm really desperate I'll turn on the Discovery Channel, or the Science Channel, or one of the many variations, but any type of episodic TV is kinda lame. Reality TV is the bane of modern existance.
I liked the show except for the feeling I got that it was a bit racist against asians. The Korean man character is so stereotyped its not even funny. The way he was telling his girlfriend to stay away from the other survivors and to button her shirt all the way to the top when that guy came around... wtf is that?! Asian people in real life don't behave that way... not anymore so than people of other ethnicities, anyway. How come everyone else can speak English including the Iraqi guy, but not the two Koreans?
Couldn't agree more. It's even better in HD. I'd toss Rescue Me, Deadwood, 24, The Shield and the Sopranos in there also when they are in season.
