Classic!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5546966725 Description: This story is completely true and no names have been changed to protect the guilty! This year for Christmas my boyfriend of two years promised me an iPod but instead presented me with a pair of pink fuzzy handcuffs and a twenty dollar bill. I am shocked and crushed of course and have gathered all of his belongings into a bag. He can hit the road because I don't want to be with anyone who has such bad taste and is so cheap. I'm so insulted and hurt that this Christmas, the man I wanted to marry, let me down so bad. To recoup my losses from the money I spent on him and to try to get enough together for what I really wanted, I am auctioning off this crappy gift. Imagine what you could do with these fuzzy handcuffs, brand new and still in the package! If you want to dump YOUR girlfriend, this is the way to go. Time tested and proved to work or your money back! Then use the money to take your new one out to dinner. I'm also including this twenty dollar bill and the lame card it came in. Extra bonus if your name is Todd. Please help me turn this holiday tragedy into a happy time by generously bidding on my auction. It will prove to my lousy EX-BOYFRIEND that even strangers on the Internet are more generous than he was.
I'm not sure if that sounds legit...it seems like people are now coming up with cutesy stories to push their items...but since she sells other things, it might be real. If it's real, then this link to the last item she purchased sorta makes this funnier... Last item purchased Handcuffs and St. Francis always a good mix in a relationship.
I wonder if some of these people list there stuff on ebay to maybe get some publicity. I mean heck she made it to the Hangout on the BBS...what's next.... And another thing Jeff....how are you finding these auctions lol. Were you looking for some fuzzy cuffs for yourself?
I'm sure we'll be hearing about on the end of new broadcast, "and on the lighterside of the news...."
this version of the ipod will be obsolete in a year or 2. take good care of the fuzzy handcuffs, and youll reap the benefits for years to come.
Not to sound like a curmudgeon, but I'm glad she hasn't received a bid on this. Too much of a copycat "been there, done that" kind of thing. And if she wanted to actually marry the guy that gave her this, she should thank her lucky stars that this is all she ended up with.
Speaking of auctions that make you go at the high bidder. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31411&item=5547009349&rd=1
