Just wondering if any of you musicians with bands have ever put your stuff on this site. I've found the reviews to be extremely helpful and, to be honest, I've heard more good music on here in the past few days than I've heard on radio in the past few years. I've honestly found some new stuff to listen to which is particularly gratifying since all of it is independent.

It's cool to have that kind of community knowing that you are all working at the same thing.

My band, orange is in, has our page on Garage Band here:

Feel free to sign up and give us some props. :D But, honestly, if you are looking to hear some new and very good music, they have it. A lot of the stuff in their top 40 or so songs of each genre literally sound like they should be hits on radio right now. Really good stuff.

I found alot of the music I now like through MP3 blogs, stuff like largeheartedboy.com. Not sure about the legality of alot of them (heck, even the one I just linked, but oh well), so I won't post em. You shouldn't have a problem finding them, though.

    Onoes post 1000?!

    Very much off topic

    Jeff,

I had a rather odd dream involving orange is in. It was set at Toyota Center and y'all were just beginning to play during the Aeros game, but no sound was coming out. Then, all of the sudden, a tune that sounded like something from Your Hit Parade circa 1949 started playing. Then George started lips syncing to this tune by an anonymous male singer. And he was doing it very badly, I might add, like one of those cheesy karate flicks with the lousy dubbing that's out of sync.

At this point the rest of band walked off stage and went back to their seats grumbling quite a bit about this apparent act of sabotage by George. I recall Chris saying something like "I'm gonna kill that guy. I'm gonna kill him."

That was the end of the dream. I hope this does not mean I am going insane, as orange is in are more than welcome in my CD player, but I wish y'all would stay out of my dreams.

Already set up there as well and at these:

    cornerband.com
    myspace.com
    artistopia.com
    broadjam.com
    audiostreet.com
    soundclick.com

GarageBand.com seems like the best of the bunch to me, but they are all helpful.

Jeff, just a heads up, but on the garageband website, you misspelled your band's url.

A band I played in back in 2001 was on that site. Actually they still are and I'm guessing they haven't updated their site in a long time since they still have me listed as their drummer. :D

I quit that band 3 years ago due to creative differences. You see, I didn't want to suck anymore.
