Yao had 1 rebound ripped from him by some guy I've never heard of. Yao tipped in a rebound for a basket while fight with the same guy, for the other team. I am not saying Yao is a bad rebounder, but tonight he was. The refs are not that bad tonight.

Quick show of hands? Any player stupid enough to WANT to play for JVG? This team has been wrecked.

Trade Yao to San Antonio for Brent Barry and watch him flourish.

Duncan and Yao - the new Twin Towers.

We need to retool around Yao and T-Mac and hope they can become the leaders that this them needs. Retooling might take 2 or 3 yrs but it is better than trading Yao or Tmac and starting all over again.

Getting rid of Van Grumpy and CD would also help.

You're right. I looked at this site and misread the stat RbRate (what does that mean?):

The 7.7 is correct for Smits. It doesn't really matter anyway. You can't tell me that 9rpg is acceptable for a 7'5" man.

Would you people give Yao a break? What do you want? Trade him for Dampier? How about Rasho? Or Chris Mihm? 19/9 in 31+ minutes is pretty damn good for any height. He'll probably finish the year at 20/10.

The rebounding doesn't bother me as much as the 10 pts. It seems every week he has at least one game where his point production is REALLY bad. When is he going to get past this. ugh..

I don't want to trade him. I want him to work on his rebounding skills. I rarely ever see him in good position for a rebound. How many countless times have we seen Yao just reach over the top of a player with one hand and try to fip it back? It ultimately leads to unnecessary fouls. If I am JVG, I get some tapes of Rodman and sit Yao down and have him watch. I might even bring Rodman in just to teach some of these guys how to board. Maybe he could help them like Lambeer helped him. Yao, Howard, and Mo have some serious rebounding problems and it is hurting the team.
