Words can not express how angry I was when Mungro got that shovel pass TD and not James. Can you tell James is on my fantasy team and this week is the championship?
The way college football does OT is so bogus. I don't know what they're playing, but it's not football. No field position battle, no kickoffs, no punts... 17-17 defensive struggles end up with 39-38 final scores in OT. It's just goofy. If you don't like sudden death, then just play an extra quarter to the end and decide the game that way.
No coinflips, or at least no coin flip that gives one team a 60% chance of winning since 1994, and a 30% chance of winning on the first possession since 1994. I prefer college. It is very exciting, and contrary to popular belief, most games don't go past 1 or 2 overtimes (the 4-5 overtime games are a rarity even when there are many more overall games per year in college. I wouldn't mind the pro system if they guaranteed each team at least one offensive possession. But the coinflip advantage - gross. Get rid of it.
i rather lose with having the ball once, then not having the ball at all. The way i would do it would be to have a coin flip to see who wants to get the ball first. On your first possession, you can either score a six or kick for three, but after that you must go for the touchdown score the rest of the 15 minutes. oh, and about Manning setting the record. eh.
