Can't believe he's dead since he's so young. He probably was the most dominating defensive lineman I've ever seen. Damn, Mike Golic is crying on ESPN.
He did not quit Christianity. He was learning Hebrew to better understand the Old Testament and that was misinterpreted by some to say that he was becoming a Jew. This is according to an NFL films special on him I saw a few days back. That being said, Reggie White dying at 43 truly proves the uncertainty of life. This was a guy that lived a good life. To my knowledge, he was not involved in the drugs, steroids, and wrecklessness that describes many of our athletes today. The world lost a good man today. May he rest in peace and may God bring comfort and solace to his loved ones during this trying time.
Reggie was my FAVORITE player until he started railing his beliefs out in press conferences.. I still admire his talent, graciousness, and work ethic immensely.. RIP
