    thanks for the vid rockets2k, currently downloading at 300kb/s and uploading at 70kb/s.


    Could you tell me why you can get it so fast.
    I use bitcomet it just download at 16k/s up like 26k/s

    please share your knowhow

    what kind of connection are u on? the tricks i did on bitcomet was to set the Preference-->Connection-->Global downloading speed to unlimited and the Global uploading speed to 70kb/s which is 10kb/s lower than my max up speed. And in Advanced-->connection i set the Max connection per task to 500 and the same for connections to keep per task.

    if you are using firewall or on a lan you might wanna check all the first 3 options(NAT and Upnp stuff) in the connection tag too. Hope those would help but ultimately its up to your ISP.

    Anyone here got any idea why I have only audio but not the video of the game. Download was no problem using ABC BT, tried both Real Player and Windows Media, still no video, thanks for the help.

    you need the right codec

    google xvid like r2k pointed out or get a codec package

    google search is your best friend;)

    Do you mean upgrade or update? If it is the latter, I have the latest Windows media player 9 series. If it is upgrade, tell me upgrade to what? Thanks for your help.

    R2K, Thanks a lot for all those BT video you provided!

    Do you have "NBA - 1989 - Playoff - Game 5 - Cavs vs Bulls.avi"? I downloaded 99% and there is no more seed, could you reseed it please? Thank you so much ! :)

    Now this may be a dumb question, but I'm new at this. I downloaded the file, and the codek, but the file has no extension. I changed it to 122004.avi and it does play with no problem. Is this how everyone does it? Is it better to change it to .mpeg?

    Thanks for the codec R2K, wish they made Bittorent for Macs though, tried "hardwiring" it as discussed in some online forums, but, no luck...

    it plays with that extension cause it is a avi...if you change it to mpeg...well, I dont know what it will do(never tried it)...but I would imagine it wont work.

    Is this happening to everyone?(having to add the file extension)...it shouldnt....yours is only the second report I have heard that says they have to manually add the extension.

    I dont have that...I only post torrents of Rockets games.(as far as I am concerned, there are no other teams than the Rockets;))
    you need to find where you got it from originally and see if they can reseed.

    Is the codec install not working for you? or are you having problems getting the bittorrent client working? Im not understanding which problem you are having now...

    just in case it is the latter, here is a link to a client that shoudl work for MAc.
