(3) Splitting games between opponents we face twice (4) Losing to teams who have better records Mediocre is achieved by: (1) Losing games at Home (2) Losing to teams on the road who are worse than us. Dreaming is acheieved by: (1) Beating all teams with a worse record (2) Winning every home game (3) Losing only when playing a top 10 team on their court Anyone agree? Dissagree?
I'm thinking Suns will not be allowed to run on us. We'll just leave Yao alone for the offensive rebound and send everyone back on shot attempts. We'll also not shoot in the first 10 seconds of the shot clock unless it's a layup attempt. We'll force them to play an ugly JVG half court game. Phx can't beat us in a half court game. We'll see. That's the game i'll be looking forward to.
Mon 24 Orlando - W I think we'll lose the home game vs Orlando. I think we'll beat them at their house. Cuttino will drop 30pts seeing that Juwan has his old number.
If I remember my Fengshui correctly bad chi comes from the north so since Dallas is due North of Houston there's should be worse than ours. For that matter the T-Wolves should be getting a heavy dose of bad chi.
Wed 5 Phoenix 8:00pm -We'll win this game, Tmac and Yao will lead the way Fri 7 @ L.A. Lakers 9:30pm -We'll lose this game, Rudy T's bench players like Cook, and Tierre Brown will hurt us. Lakers will hit their 3pters and we won't Sun 9 @ Denver 8:00pm -We'll win this game, Carmelo will become selfish and help his team lose. It'll be a close game Wed 12 @ Dallas 8:00pm -WE'll lose this game, Dirk goes crazy everytime he see's Juwan and Mo Taylor. 2-2
All of those teams are much better, top to bottom, and feature players we can't stop. They have it easy - just slow TMac. The rest of the Rockets fold like a house of cards. LLLL
Not trying to be a smart a$$ but isn't the whole season a true test of a teams ability to play, persevere, and grow into it's best product. As time passes one would think that a team would get better as a season moves forward and not a constant progress-regress-progress-regress-regress-progress-regress... etc. If we were beating teams that we SHOULD beat (Like expansion teams), then the those four games (mentioned above) would be a great test of our seasonal maturation. But with setbacks like the ones we create (like last night / and other blown opportunities), I would think that the most important upcoming game is the next one on the schedule.
