here it is...the best output from our two stars so far...lets hope this is the start of something BIG. Rockets vs Raptors 12/20/04 xvid is the codec needed...... after you finish downloading, dont forget to leave your client open until you achieve a 1:1 upload download ratio....if you just download it, and then close your client...the system wont work for anyone. Enjoy...it ws a awesome sight to see.
Thanks alot. I have downloaded from u before, and it worked. But rite now, its not working. It downloads in like 1 second. I do not think i am to access the file properly or something. What could be the problem?
If it's downloading in 1 sec you are saving it as a htmil doc rather than a BT starter. Check you Bt client and get it running first then try it again. alternatively use right click and save target as on the link he provided to the desktop. Once that is saved double click on it and your BT software should automatically start. third option Get ABC BT client it's the best. Google it. BTW its working for me thanx R2K
Works for me Are you sure you guys aren't just downloading the torrent file but actually opening it up with your Torrent program? Thanks R2K
Thanks a lot patlabor1, its working now. I got the abc bt client, i think that was the problem. THanks also to rockets2k, of course.
thanks. Uploading at 35kb/sec (maxed out), downloading at 12kb/s (not maxed out..160kb/sec max... ) And for those who still need a bittorrent client, i suggest bit tornado. It's very simple to use, and does not bog down your computer.
Hi i've always had trouble downloading these files. I've used both clients and they don't work..what could be the problem? I'm at work so I'm behind a firewall..could that be it? Do these clients need to be configured? Hope someone can help me out. It's the first time I use something like this. And I can't watch the games since I'm in Mexico Thanks guys
which ones do you mean when you say both clients? I've tried ABC but i forget how it is used, but i could offer advice for bittornado. I'm behind a firewall at home, but it prevent me from downloading stuff. For BitTornado, the "light" will be yellow if you're behind a firewall. DOes it find peers/and or seeds? Green I think is when you're unlimitied in connecting to others who have the file. It is only when it's red if there's a real problem. And you shouldn't have to configure anything.
company firewalls will in many cases keep you from using bittorrent. if you arent sure, ask your friendly neighborhood network admin.... Im almost positive he will tell you that you cant do that at work. btw....didnt want to start a new thread for these...but who wants some highlights? Highlights from the win over Raptors JJ's Disputed 3
thanks for the vid rockets2k, currently downloading at 300kb/s and uploading at 70kb/s. for ppl behind firewalls or in a lan, you might wanna try BitComet which can be found at www.bitcomet.com. It'll probably give you a much better downloading rate thanks to its optimization for firewall and lan users.
