    We'll possibly be 7... most likely 8 or 9. Nooooo waaaaay 11.

We'll be 8/9 in another month or so. Wait to see the 'Insider's' predicted finish then. ;)

You've got to be kidding; Only a historic collapse by the Sonics will keep them out of the playoffs

I think the Rockets will make the playoffs. It's still early and despite the horrible start we are only about a game and half out of 8th. The balance will be restored, I doubt Phoenix and Seattle will continue to win at the pace they are currently. Minnesota, San Antonio and Sacremento are the teams you can count on finishing at the top 3. I think the rest of the west will be wide open. After the Allstar break is when teams really start positioning themselves and the "True" playoff teams come to the forefront whereas the pretenders fade and I can see Seattle being one of those that melts down. Denver and Utah will definitely improve especially once AK47 comes back. Yao and T-Mac have been impressive lately and seem to be building chemistry. I know the Rockets recent oponents have NOT been top tier but these are still games that need to be won and it's good to see them take care of them with the exception of the Bobcats loss the other night.

Dang that loss to Charlotte hurts, you watch it come up to bite us in the butt at playoff time.

If you beat Hawks, Knicks, and Bobcats, you're right in the middle of the mix at 15-10, CRAP, all three collapses!!

The Rockets just need to pull a Van Gundy (Miami-style) to shoot up in the standings.:)

...and the number one thing on GARM that sounds dirty but isn't:

(Doubly ironic since Stan is known to many as "Ron Jeremy Van Gundy.")

We are what, a game and a half out of the 7th seed? My bet is that we end up the 7th seed again this year, but have a better shot in the playoffs with our "ugly ball."

But if we miss the playoffs, fire Van Gundy!!

Wasn't this team supposed to be an improvement over last year?

Suns and Sonics are going to make the playoffs unless Amare or Allen is injuried somehow. Kings/T-Pups/Spurs/Mavs will be in playoff too. That will leave two spots open for the rest of gangs (Rockets/Lakers/Nuggets/Grizziles/Blazers/Jazz/Clippers). I think Rockets and Lakers will get the final two spots. I won't be suprise if Nuggets/Grizillies make the playoff. They are just too talented to be overlooked.
