I really don't understand where you're coming from. Paul controled the game, that's what the best point guards do. 23 points, 12 assists. That's great for a pro game. What more do you want?
What facts? I still don't know where you got #2 and #3 from #5 and #12 I said UT would have a chance because I felt Wake was struggling and hasn't been playing good ball all year. You said I spoke too soon. I think I was right. Chris Paul is a great guard, I've said that, I just don't feel he is the best point guard or best player in the ACC. So no, I don't think he deserves all the hype he got before the season started. They called him the player of the year and best point guard in the country.
If the teams are #5 and #12, you can assume that the selection committee would make the #5 ranked team a #2 seed (#1-#4 would be one-seeds) and that a 12th ranked team would receive a #3 seed (along with those ranked 9-11).
In the tournament. But right now in AP, it's #5 and #12. How they are ranked in the tourny seems pretty irrelevant, although you could say that about how they are ranked now. I was just pointing it out to say Wake is not as good as advertised.
Definitely the second best basketball game I've seen this season(T-Mac vs. the Spurs was the best). Chris Paul is definitely a gamer, and he's the reason Wake is #5. This Texas team is young and should only get better. I hope Gibson and Aldridge stick around for at least next season.
Y'all want to see a good game tune in to the UNM/Wake Forest game Wednesday night. I don't think it's nationally televised though. The Lobos (10-1) were..they may still be...leading the nation in FG% and a win in the Pit over the Deamon Deacons would have to propel em into the top 25. Keep an eye on Senior Danny Granger.
If Aldridge gets good advice, he will be back next year. He is not in any way ready for the NBA right now.
Well, there's a pretty good chance that he will go to the NBA next year. He was close to entering the draft this past year, but he decided he wanted to win an NCAA championship. I think he, at the time, was under the impression that he would tear the NCAA's up right out of the gates. Now that he isn't(Not to say that he's having a bad freshman year) , he may have wisened up.
