Les praised JVG???, for what??? for losing???

He might just praise JVG's career number, but definately not this season, he was out of control with current roster, his main man Yao couldn't get any help, and another so called superstar won't even listen to him, so it leave him no choice just let Tmac take his game whatever you want, win or lose.

I am confident that if we had kept BAD and EG which was within our power instead of a bunch of short PF reject we would not be so sorry. It is not like they did not know they would have to be dealing with Amare, KG, Dirk, Zach on a nightly basis. They made it worst by adding EG to that list. This summer I told them to keep BAD and EG.

At this point- CD is being managed by Van Gundy. These deals that brought us Ward and Spoon are pure Van Gundy...Van Gundy has assembled this team. He gets the credit if they succeed and blame if they fail....

Not according to JVG himself. :D

In today's Chronicles, JVG went out of his way to offer his view of the team. "Everybody talks about depth being a great thing," Van Gundy said. "Depth is important. Too much is just as problematic as too little. And I think you've seen it with us. At some spots, we could use more, and at some spots, we have too much. It's not a fault of anybody's. It's no fault of (general manager) Carroll (Dawson). It's just how it's been dealt so far.

So, he was dealt with the players he has now, but it's not CD's fault. Do I smell something here? Are you listening, Les?

well JVG is skirting the blame around..

its not my fault, its not CD's fault, ummmm.. its no ones fault. Which means its everyones fault and blame should be spread around.

    JVG is losing my respect.

    yea
I hate his passive agressive crap
oooo it is not CD's fault
BUT THESE ARE THE PLAYERS WE'VE BEEN Dealt

hhhmmm since CD is responsible for dealing players
sounds like he saying it is EXACTLY CD's fault
    but
covering his ass so he can say he never said that
in fact can say he SPECIFICALLY said it was not CD's fault

I feel sorry for CD.. to be honest I think people know he is just a front and doesnt wield any real power. He does what is asked of him.. (either by Les or JVG) He is not a mastermind with a gameplan looking to add the right pieces he just has a nice title.
