Actually ya know... it just ain't the same. It's like sucking in a game and then going back and saying "but hey, remember this game?!" Well, yeah, but there was the game after that... I'm hoping about 45 months down the road we can laugh at how pathetic the Rockets played in some of these early games.

Yea Doc, I get where you're coming from, but after yet another depressing collapse....it seemed only fitting that I deviate from my normal thread labeling and acknowledge the bad feelings undoubtedly going around Rocketland. I have no doubt in my mind that we will eventually look back at these times as the inevitable growing pains involvd in a team being built and maturing. We have a good base, and as time goes by, we will get better and better as they continue to build on that base. Am I having selective memory loss? Was the board ever this hostile back pre-02? I remember lots of folks that were pessimistic and didnt mind expressing it...but the discussion they inevitably invoked seemed much more intelligent. oh well...as it goes.... KeepJuaquin, Depends on what you mean when you say "old"....I only started recording Rockets games to digital last season, so I should have over 95% of those.......and I do have access to the gametape of the 2 championship series from a friend...but no other ones than that.
When I joined this BBS back in 2002, I used to love coming here to read all the news, insights, discussions and opinions from knowledgeable and rational posters. Now I still come here on a regular basis, but I would scan through most of the post and only look for posts from the more respected senior members. Is it me, or is it seems like half of the new members, who by the way are the most frequent posters, are like kids posting whatever that comes to mind without thinking, reason, basis or understanding. I appreciate all the educated and knowleadgeable members who still take the time to post here despite what this board has become lately. You guys help keep this board from going down the drain.
