Playing in the west doesn't mean a thing if you are not winning games against eastern teams. Hope a loss to Charlotte would bring a reality check on this Houston Magic team.

I hope this also brings a reality check to the fans who slammed a fairly accurate article. Tracy is a great player but he needs to learn how to win, to be a leader. Nothing wrong with that.

he is taking our whole season into account...not just a small part where we played against such powerhouses like Atlanta, Philidelphia, new Orlenes and Golden state. With the exception of a miracle comeback against San Antonio this "win Streak" you talk about is just against crappy teams. By taking out recored into account over the whole year the guy is seeing how we have fared against good and bad. So as long as we keep playing the same way, this is where we are going to end up.

AND YES, the east sucks. the guy doesnt imply that they don't. BUT orlando is a GOOD team, not just a good EAST team. THeir record against the West is 8 and 5 with wins against the lakers, Utah and Mavericks.

u guys the rockets are a bad team...don't get so rediculous when others point that out

Maybe so but folks around here are not quite ready to deal with facts just yet because facts have a nasty habit of getting in the way of the fantasy: that Yao & T-Mac ALONE make this a viable playoff team.

I guess the question then is what sample size of the season that best offers a predictor for future performance?

    The whole season?

    The last 6 games?

The most recent game?...if you extrapolate the Charlotte game, the Rockets are on track for a 0-82 record. :D
