Because it's pointless to start a thread about another trade rumor when we have this one:

Wasn't it KT who once said "Man, F**k Houston!"? :D

If the guy can take a dog bite to the face, and not ***** about it, I'd say he's pretty fearless. Let's just hope it's in the paint, and not on a plane.

    Kenny Thomas Salary

    04/05 - 4.8M
    05/06 - 5.3M
    06/07 - 5.8M
    07/08 - 6.4M
    08/09 - 6.9M
    09/10 - 7.4M

Keeping in mind Juwan Howard is signed until 08/09. Taylor till 06/07 and Weatherspoon until 05/06.

    No thanks!

If we can swap KT and his bad contract for MoT or Howard and one of their bad contracts, preferrably the one who comes off the books first, then that would be perfect for us. In a heartbeat. He is tough. He rebounds.

I just can't imagine Philly wanting to do it. Can't be true.

    Unless...

I hope this isn't true...we have enough undersized "power" forwards for now.

Bash the guy all you want, but he does have a good post game, and he can defend. And whether you hate it or not, he was an understudy to Barkley for a couple of years.

I am all for having him back on the team. He would fit better with Yao and Tmac than anything that we have right now. The guy fights hard and doesn't quit. He is a role palyer, and he accepts that.

    He didn't fit with Yao when he was here as I still remember him waving off Yao in the low post then. Why would he be a fit now? We need a 3 pt shooting pf that can rebound - like EG. {Did I just type that!? - but letting him go was the right thing to do and I admit I wasn't a EG fan when he was here.}

We need a rebounder...not a tweener who can run the break for a coach who wouldn't know what to do with a fast break if it was blonde with a 36-28-34 figure.

Should have kept EG, and we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

I am so disgusted with the Rockets front office.

We have made so many bad moves it is disgraceful.

KT and corlis have two different games. defensively williamson is better guarding 3's he has played the 3 most of his career. i never said phili would want mo and juwon. juwon and spoon would actually be a good deal for them and us.

if its cap space they want and we offer two guys with shorter contracts then they consider it. no team will offer an expiring contract for KT. just like no team would for mo. all they can hope for is a team to offer a shorter contract to speed things up a bit.

i don't believe size has anything to do with rebounding. so what if we get a player who is 2 inches shorter? its proven that kenny is a better rebounder than anyone we have by a longshot. the same goes for corlis (at the 3).

i would like to get dalembert in the deal too, but it just aint happening. its hard to make it fair and work cap wise. i know we needs guys like the ones you listed but we have no chance at getting them because we have absolutely nothing to offer thats worth a damn.

Classic example of how rumors get started.

    Thanks for the clarification Beenz.
