I was battling excessive with excessive Calvin Murphy was a horrible father no doubt about that. But being a "horrible human being" doesn't fit into the life of Calvin Murphy.
This team was on the rise when the accusations against Calvin first started and it was all down-hill from there. Since he's been found innocent, we're like 4-1. Maybe its just one of those things where the team's performance is linked to him and now we're back on track again. Or maybe its cuz of our easy schedule lately.
right....but horrible father to ELEVEN children. Eleven different lives he had nothing but a very negative influence upon. I understand now your problem with streching what he did as a father to his humanity... but i just think that so much of the people we are is shaped on our influence with others. Granted he has done so much charity but that should excuse him from the harm he has done to his own fleash and blood. Regardless of how horrible a person he is, his job was still a "brige" inbetween the fans and the team. He was a public figure and public figures have certain moral responsobilites. Is that fair? hell yes. It's not like he is a celebrity or just famous, but he is a Spokes person for the franchise. Everyone has their openion...I'll just say that i was a big calvin murphy fan on and off the court and what i thought was a real role model... but that image is gone now. And calvin has only one person to blame for that.
