Well our record is getting back on track, but why are we still blaming on JVD? We certainly didn't blame him last years and if u look at it we will have the same record as last years. Or at least we will finish the same. That the way he coach and if the player don't play with his system then we will lose. We a defensive team and that may be boring but that the way is it. We didn't blame him last year why so now.

"Back on track" if you are willing to accept mediocrity. "Finishing the same" when upgrading from Steve Francis to Tracy McGrady is unacceptable. The leading scorer in the league should not be shackled to the floor by "the system." It is the head coach's job to put players in the best position to succeed. Jeff Van Gundy does not do that.

BTW, this really could've gone in any of a dozen other threads, notably the "FIRE GUNDY" one.

I'm assuming you mean JVG. Sometimes a coach has to adjust to his players, not try to rebuild his team of the 90's Knicks that never even won a ring. I can't even watch most these games anymore because they're so boring.

At least when Rudy was coaching, we had the most dangerous backcourt in the league and they were fun to watch and put up points.

Like I have said many a time, I will continue to want JVG fired, no matter the record, unless he changes his coaching style to better suit our players.

The trade was Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, and Kelvin Cato for Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard, and Tyronne Lue

    McGrady>Francis
    Mobley>Lue
    Cato>Howard

Actually, this was a slight setback with a much better chance at a higher future payoff.

Just what we need on this board......another idiotic thread!

All I can say is I"m glad none of you knuckleheads are in charge of the organization. If you want to blame somebody for our current lack of talent lets be honest here and blame Rudy T and CD for their less then stellar draft selections over the last 5-6 years. Funny thought but nobody was wanting to fire Rudy even as he continued to make bone headed draft selections and couldn't get his team back to the playoffs once The Dream left.

    Yes, let's blame Rudy!!!
Let's blame Rudy for letting EG go.
Let's blame Rudy for trading 3 starters for 1.
Let's blame Rudy for not giving Boki any playtime to develop.
Let's blame Rudy for our awsome offence...
