I have this but for 5 bucks extra you get 3 movies at a time.

But the overall selection does suck balls

I fell for the "returned at 12:05am" late fee trick. They are ruthless. 5 minutes late, you're docked.

Cool. I'll check it out. Although it appears that Blockbuster has their own version of Netflix for about $20 per month.

yeah its 17.49 or some crap. I am trying their two week trial offer but I'll let you know.

you also get 2 free coupons a months for a free movie/game with the online account. Plus online they have a wider selection.

Blockbuster is slowly moving it's way towards totally eliminating their stores for good and strictly going online only as well as payperview...it will happen sooner than what people think.

A guy that got hired as a manager at the theater where I work during the summer came over from a Blockbuster that he managed and predicted that Blockbuster would either go totally online or out of business completely within a couple of years.

That's just too weird... are most people really ready for the technology to move that fast? A lot of people still don't do that much business online. And what about the Friday night ritual of going to dinner and then hanging around the video store trying to figure out what everyone wants? :(

With blockbuster and my friends, it's more like hanging outside of the blockbuster trying to figure out who DOESN'T have late charges on their card?

and in the even that everyone has fees, then it's who has the least amount of charges, and can we pay them off?

It's an improvement over their old policy. But, I still hate them for charging me late fees on movies that were returned on time. I think I'll stick with Cactus.

I was actually excited about this at first, but after thinking about it I don't think I like it. My gf and I have been doing the unlimited movie rentals every other month (give time for new movies to come in) and we love it. Now the only thing this is going to do for us is make us wait longer or have to get luckier to get certain movies. I guess that means we'll be going back to the old way of renting since late fees were the main reason we switched.
