    Tmac can post up EVERY 2 guard in the NBA and even some SFs.
    Why not make him the inside game? He can do the 'Jordan" Post up move/fadeway.

    Make Yao take the 15 footers! Since Yao had a great touch from mid range. Why not? He shoots better than our power forwards.

    Tmac=Jordan
    Yao=Taller Pippen

    Tmac will be the focal point of the offense.

    As carzy as this idea is, it wouldnt work. Yao's been missing all the wide open 15 footers this year. BUT we should be posting up T-Mac a lil more than we do right now.

    Im not the only one going crazy!

    Remember when Rockets lost the Knicks? And Charles went off on how stupid the Rockets defense was? I've never seen him react to a game like that.

    This whole season have driven Rockets fans to the asylum. I mean people are suggesting we get Shareef Rahim, Phil Jackson, Karl Malone..People even think that Juwan would average 17pts! People have lost their minds.

    As crazy as some of you guys think it is, McGrady's spin move off the post up is one of the most unstoppable moves in the NBA right now.

    Because of his size, TMac has an advantage in the post over just about every guard in the NBA. We should definitely try to post him up more.

    As for Yao, I think that his jump shot has left him. But still it wouldn't hurt to play him in the high post once in a while.

    any idea that can help us score is welcomed...

    Posting up TMAC is actually something we should be doing more often. That's a mismatch 99% of the time.

    As soon as Yao's elbow is heeled, he can knock down 80% those wide open shots as he did in preious seasons, i believe this is the main reason why Rocket trade for Tmac to P N R with yao.

    Yao Ming high post offense. Do it!

    Opens up the lane for cutters, he can set high picks, get away from double teams, he can pass, he can shoot.

    Do it!

    Every 3 or 4 possessions, this would work well.

    I second that. After they take away the brace, I think that Yao can hit over 50% of those wide open 15 footers on a regular basis. That brace has been bothering him for more than we know.

    Horrible...first of all, without Tmac operating on the perimeter we have ZERO playmaking...we need TMac to create opportunities for the team with his penetration and slashing abilities

    Secondly, while Tmac can be very effective in the post, Yao is still the better option down there.

    With Yao in the low post position, the opposite players alwsys crowds down low with him, it make Tmac almost Zero chance to attact the rim, so it leave two choice for him, one is passing to Yao, it might cause a turnover, the other is passing to perimeter, come on, do we have anybody can hit those wide open 3s.

    So the best offence set for Tmac is Yao on the high post, give Tmac more rooms to operate his shots, and as far as yao, when his elbow is heeled, he can knock down those wide open shots as always. i believe that's main reason why the rocket trade for Tmac, they want to play two man game.

    Tinman, you border on the line of INSANITY and PURE GENIUS.
    Unfortunately this thread falls under insanity, but no matter what, I will always support you, and your alter ego Willis. Five stars!

    Defense would just play a zone. Tmac can't shoot over Cs and PFs. Yao gets stripped by quicker, more energetic Gs and SFs.
