I'm not gonna make this one, alas. A wedding and all. But all of y'all should check out my dart thread. Another great opportunity for a get together. Hope to see some of you there.

I'll be there...lemme see if I got the details right...

    Dec. 18...2pm...at this place...http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&do=nw&1ex=1&un=m&2ex=1&2tabval=address&cl=EN&ct=NA&1tabval=address&2v=INTERSECTION&1y=US&1a=&1c=houston&1s=tx&1z=&1ah=&2y=US&2a=El+Camino+Real+%26+El+Dorado+Blvd&2c=Houston&2s=TX&2z=77062&2ah=&idx=0&id=41a8089d-00072-001f8-400c2532&aid=41a8089d-00073-001f8-400c2532

    Is that right?

Hey, what down and distance rules are we playing? I'm down with tackle if that's been decided. Or I can be a ref if you guys look like a bunch of Urlachers and RayRays...

Yes, that map is correct. When you get to El Camino Real, you can turn left and park in the semi-circular driveway or you can go straight, u-turn at the next light (Diana Ln.) and turn into the parking lot behind the school (this is the closest parking to the football field).

I'm still deciding if I'm going to go. That's one far ass drive for me.

Also, re: the tackle thing, are you guys for real? What, not enough physical contact from women? We're mostly professional adults here, we don't have time to deal with injuries to ourselves or others. Trust me, there are other ways to prove to yourself that the balls between your legs aren't merely for functional purposes. If you want to beat your chest and declare your maleness to the world, go pick a fight at a bar.

    I vote for no tackle.

We're not playing tackle, that's already been decided by the majority of us.

Just to repeat, I have to work nights on the 18th. I wasn't going to play anyway, but I'll be there to watch from 2 till 4, when I have to go to work.

Shall I bring the splints, stretchers, and pain killers?

Smart choice. I read through the thread, but didn't see that finalized anywhere. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Who is bringing what?

Kam-Football? better Be NFL cuz my hands are not suited for Ncaa footballs

    Andy-Grill?

Are we going to play flag, if so who is bringing the flags?

    Food for the grill?

    Cervezas and plastic cups?

    Napkins and plates and sporks?

And most importantly who is bringing their A-game?

I myself can bring 1. Game, 2. Lighter fluid 3. Some charcoal if we are using that and not gas.

Bah. For the last time, flag-football is not football. Not even close. A bunch of skinny dudes lateraling and running around big dudes.

If you're not going to play it right, why bother playing at all.

    Wussies.

    I think 2:00.

So...is the plan to B-B-Q at the same place we're playing? Sounds good to me, just wanted to make sure there weren't any city restrictions or anything like that. I can bring some things if needed, just let me know.

It would be nice if we had some actual flags, if not we might just have to play touch. None of that fruity action from you Kam. :p

yeah i am waking up early saturday and am going to roast the pork ribs for 3 or so hours, then wrap them up. Then when I get there I'll finish them on the grill and glaze those bad boys up.

Believe me, they will be good. My own recipe.

I am also going to make my famous mango habanero salsa if anyone brings the chips. And if anyone wants to bring drinks or any side dishes so be it.

But I will definetly bring my A game.

    Can't wait.
