To think I would know you changed the lyrics would be to assume I know the original lyrics. I barely know who Ashley Simpson is, much less what she pretends to sing.

The first time I heard this song, I thought my ears would start bleeding. Then, the next day I heard a woman say that it was "the coolest song ever" and the urge to kill rose. Seriously though, why is there NOT a backlash towards Ashlee and Lohan for getting caught lip synching? It ended Milli Vanilli's career. Granted, technically Lohan and Simpson do their own singing on their albums, but with Pro Tools I could make an album and sound like Aretha Franklin.

Have I told you lately that I love you? Seriously, you are so spot on. Pro Tools can make wet goose farts sound like Pavarotti. They should rename the damn product "Cover Up My Lack of Talent Tools". That would be much more accurate.
I'm serious though. This really bothers me (which just proves I have no life). I like pop music. It's as simple as that. The only problem is, we've lost what pop music means. Pop in "Pet Sounds" (IMO, the greatest album ever), "Sgt. Peppers" or "Abbey Road". They're pop music. Unfortunately, somehow pop has become "no-talent hacks 'singing' music they didn't write". WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?!? We still have pop music today, but the problem is everyone classifies it as something else.....U2 is pop.......John Mayer.....Coldplay......Dashboard Confessional. They're all pop. But we classify them as "Rock" or "Singer/Songwriter". And I love Pro Tools. If you're a good artist, the things you can do on that are INCREDIBLE. But unfortunately, if you suck, you also can use Pro Tools to change that. I don't think people realize how much Pro Tools can adjust your music. And the fact that it bothers me this much does scare me, I will admit. But for the last week I've been done with classes and studying for finals (why all of mine are on the last day confuses me), and my mind wanders to stuff like this. So next time you're upset with "pop" music today, pop in "Pet Sounds" and just enjoy the incredible-ness that is Brian Wilson.
not to start a backlash on me. but i happened to see a pic of ms. simpson that had her tiznats in it (clothed of course ) and they didn't look big at all. am i missing something?
Damn you Fatty. I had to go to Amazon and listen to some sound clips of this Ashlee Simpson character. Then after doing hearing that awful caterwauling, I then listened to some "Animals" by Floyd. Thank God that there are other music alternatives than the crap that is Ashlee, Lindsay (she is still hot though ), Hillary, britney, etc.
