Calling a player a knock off is stupid. But I think that Kobe is the 2 guard protoype that every player in the league strives for. ANd yes Michael was the prototype but he's old and retired so Kobe's now the current model.

We haven't seen a poised Mcgrady in the playoffs yet. Remember, he's never had spectacualr performances and has never been in tough playoff series where clutch performances are crucial. Kobe's done this against the 76er's, Spurs, Kings, and Nets. What has T-Mac done? He's done ok with the Raptors, had a couple good series with Orlando but couldn't close people out and instead underestimated his opponents. Show mw something T-MAC!!!

I think its pretty obvious that T-Mac performs like crazy in the Playoffs and in the clutch.

His numbers in the playoffs are phenomenol and he (single handedly) had 2004 NBA Champs Detroit Down 3-1 two years ago.

He has performed in the playoffs but has never had anyone else on his team to share the burden.

Wait a minute, are we talking about the same guy who predicted the series was over 2 years ago? I'm not convinced and the burden of proof is on T-Mac to show me he is a dominant player, a special player in this league the likes of Kobe and MJ. He's gotten better I admit. He has stepped up the last few games, but let's hope this is a new and consistentlt hungry T-Mac and not the b**** that existed for 7 seasons in the NBA.
