Isn't Pete Townsend(sp?) deaf? He just won't give up on his Rock N' Roll...will he..even if he can't hear? I'm glad for you Who fans getting to see them again. They did make great music and we know they can still play their greatest hits.

On the other hand, when are Reunion tours going to be a thing of the past. Bands should be bands until their last days...now whether they actually produce albums or tour is another matter. Once a band...always a band...should be the motto. Or else...A REUNION TOUR? CHA-CHING...MO MONEY TIME...moreso than if we had never split up to begin with. Hey, let's call it a reunion tour and up the price by $20. Are we so out of fresh music that every band has to mount reunion tours?

I seem to recall this HUGE HOOPLA about their last tour about a decade ago. Last tour! Last tour! See them while you can! Now, every band in the world has reunion tours going on....why can't these bands be more like "Rush" and just take long breaks in between records/tours [IMG]. You don't see them throwing in the towel only to come back for reunion tours. When their finished, they are done.

Get ready...The Go-Gos and The Bangles are next.... [IMG].

Seriously, though...have fun at your last Who concert [IMG].

I hear ya Surf. Even Frank Sinatra did a couple of "farewell" tours. But I don't care if they call if a "reunion" tour, "farewell" tour, "last" tour, or whatever...if I dig the music, I'm going to pay the price and go to the show. So that's what I'm doing tonight. And I thank God I don't have to drive! [IMG] [IMG]

What a killer show! And what a killer hangover I've got here at work! It cracked me up when before the opening number Townshend yelled into the mike "IT'S F*CKING FREEZING UP HERE!!". Never heard a better rendition of "Getting in Tune".
