Personally, I think we're more of an offensive team moreso than a defensive one. Don't get me wrong, I think last year's defense was probably one of the league's best (next to the Pistons and the Pacers) With that said, I find that Van Gundy is lacking on the offensive schema of basketball. Hes too conservative and, to be honest, I am not really seeing any creativity out there. It seems that he runs the same play over and over again.

With the talent we have out there now, we should be scoring an easy 100+ pts per game. Why?

Yao doesn't to tire out as easily as he did (rookie and sophmore year) and hes definitely more of an offensive player than a defensive player. He has the shot ability to knock down jumpers and has a post game, he should easily be scoring 24 pts per game. I don't think I even need to delve into the Mcgrady's offensive game.

As a rockets fan, I want whats best for this team. Thus, I am thinking its best for the rockets to move into a more offensive game plan rather than a defensive one. Don't get me wrong, defense is important but it seems that defense is emphasized too much and offense is usually lack luster.

    What do you guys think?

Yao himself, when being asked who is better, him or Gasol, said, "Gasol is more offensively gifted, but I play better defense."

    :p

Are we good at either one? No. Other than Yao and Tmac, only JJ deserves to play in NBA. The rest of the team is garbage. Oh well, Mo and Howard are worse than garbage.
