Considering the bad starts by both Utah and Houston does anyone think that Management of either team would consider shaking up the rosters.

Would anyone here consider doing a AK47 + Matt Harpring for T-Mac trade?

I am by no means advocating a trade like this, I was just thinking about to teams that seem to be underachieving at this point.

I am a huge T-Mac fan but something like this certainly would perk my interest. AK47 is one of the best two way players in the league...with Artest gone for the season he may be the absolute best two way player plus he has a hell of a nice outside shot. Harpring also has a hell of a good outside shot that would free up some space for Yao.

    i would not do this.
i think the rockets are a very abd offensive team. and i do not think it is wise to trade our best offensive player. I do not think Yao and AK-47(altough he is a great player) wil be able to score enough.
I would love to see T-mac and Yao get used to each other and dominate.

    TMac for AK47/Boozer? Maybe.

But we have to atleast give Yao/TMac a good chance to play with each other (that means without JVG). :)

Ak47 is a superb player, but he is no where close to be able to take over games. His offensive game is quite limited. I certainly wouldn't do AK47 TMac swap. But AK47+Boozer vs T-Mac swap sounds interesting.

Sure!!! Look at the Utah without AK-47 then lose 5 straight... That mean this kid is a winner and he do what ever it take to win.. But i doubt that they would trade him for anyone.. They love him to dead.

    t-mac/gaines for ak-47/harpring/PF

Utah would never, never, never do this trade. Kirelinko is everything that TMac isn't in a player... hustle, heart, unselfishness, incredible defensive player...

That said... I would trade Kirelinko and Harpring for TMac in a heartbeat... Kirelinko would be perfect at PF behind Yao... great weakside defender and rebounder...

Dude, I would jump on that. AK and Yao. Teaming up. I'm slobbering. We would be weak at the 2, but that's alright. As long as we have a slasher like AK and a banger in Booz, that's fine w/ me.

I'd go for Boozer and AK...never Harpring and AK. I love Harpring more than most, but still, come on.. that makes Yao the only go-to option on offense. What about the 50% of the time when Yao isn't on? Stand around and #$!@ around? Even Boozer is a better offensive option than the rest of the guys on this team.

Also, Kirilenko, imo, hasn't shown a lot of "heart". He hasn't NOT shown it (excuse the double negative)...but he hasn't done anything to show that he has that passion for the game like some of the greats have either. He definitely has hustle, unselfishness, and an incredible defensive game though..

Kirelinko plays SF so I don't see him as an answer to the PF.
but I do agree he is a great weakside defender and rebounder.

Somehow if AK-47 got here, his numbers would drop dramatically. Meanwhile TMac would average 32 points a game in Utah.

I don't think the Jazz would do that trade.

This is ridiculous. Give the team a freaking chance. The problem isn't Yao and Tracy. We need a change at PF!
