Hey does anybody know any good guitar/music shops around town (or even pawn shops for that matter) that buys back used equipment for a fair price. Im looking to sell my new, hardly been played, elect. guitar.

And I'm not really an Ebay person but will go that route depending on what I get offered in an actual store.

Rockin' Robin off of Sheperd is the only place I know that buys guitars (for a fair price)..

    I'd do it ebay, personally.

If it's old and vintage, go to Fuller's Vintage Guitar on the North Loop at Yale. If it isn't, go to Rockin Robin or do it yourself.

guitar stores that buy your stuff for a fair price? Only in a perfect world.

You're better off selling on ebay. I tried to sell my Marshall 4x12 cab to 5 stores and the highest price any of them gave me was $150. The thing that made me walk away was I see the SAME exact marshall cab in those stores that are in WORSE condition than mine going for around $350.

I said screw that...I sold mine on ebay for $450 and the guy who had the winning bid paid for shipping too.

Or... you could tell us what kinda guitar you've got... I know there are a lot of musicians on here that might want to buy it and might give you a better deal than the guitar shops...

It's a ... schecter diamond series c-1 plus electric. It's only 6mnths old, sounds great, is in perfect condition. It was one of those impulse buys I shoulda never succumbed too, and actually I really needed an amp more, but oh well :p

It has a maple finish on it...its a really beautiful guitar, if I could keep it I would.... but i wanna try and sell it in the 400-450 price range (which includes the hardshell case)... i originally paid like 550-600 for it and its in immaculate condition, only used it a handful of times.

To close the deal, might I suggest posting a few pictures of a really hot girl (gf, sister, etc.) holding said guitar?

Oh, and do I get commission? ;)

Hmmm... interesting suggestion, but I don't have a sister and my gf might kill me if I asked her to do that :D

As for commission, hell if you can find someone willing to take it off my hands I'd consider anything ;)
