Mobley just hit a big three. Makes a face like someone hit him in the gut. Obviously his attempt to be like T. Owens.

Cuttino still hitting the big shots. Magic win because of it.

The Magic are what the Rockets were pre-Yao. Exciting to watch, high-flying. But they're also in the East, which makes them look a lot stronger. Still, SF and Cat have a better supporting cast in Hill and Howard, I'm just not sure it will be enough to get them deep in the playoffs

I think the Magic will come out of the East if Hill stays healthy.

But I think it's not quite right to say "pre-Yao"...it's more...pre-JVG...

And lost, badly, to the Nugs. :D

BTW, I'm wondering where all the people proclaiming that the Jazz were big time contenders are now.

Hi, Nuggets have been doing great with a 11-7 record. However, they only played FIVE road games so far and won two (Rockets and wizs). On the other hand, Rockets have played TEN road games and Magic played NINE road games.

Cat's successful three pointer was at a critical point in the game. About 20 secs left in the game. I would say that counts as a good reason as to why they won.

Remember when Sean Reynolds struggled to name 5 teams that could knock off the Jazz in the playoffs/Finals? Utah has the same record as the Rockets (8-11) and has lost 10 of 12. I know AK47 has been hurt, but he wasn't hurt when the Jazz went on their personal crusade to make sure there were no more winless teams in the NBA (back-to-back home losses to 0-8 New Orleans and 0-9 Chicago).

Unbelievable how well cat mobley and Francis are doing in orlando. I mean 26 points for mobes and 20 for francis tonight.
They are both having great years so far. It hurts me to see this ofcourse given the trade. Why does every single player the rockets give up or trade become better or is it just me? E. Griffin hit 7 3pointers tonight for the freakin twolves!!!!! I'm burnin up!!

The last year before Yao came on board, our Rox team stopped being exciting. The bone headed dumb plays started getting stale. We started looking like one of those "And 1" remise tapes.

The culmination of that and Yao first year dissapoinments made the whole team implodable. You can stand dumb one on one play only for a short while.

I love the Rox team of today more than thay of last year's of the four years prior. I love the composition and direction of this team. We tried the street ball mentality and it has failed. It tmac-yao time. I believe this is the right formula and direction. The season is still virgin so to say. This will start looking up in not time.

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

    Jason Collier
    Kelvin Cato
    Cuttino Mobley
    Steve Francis
    Eddie Griffin
    James Posey
    Kenny Thomas

Just wait until we trade Mo Taylor and he averages 20/10 with his new team.

It's sickening how much talent we have let get away with so little in return.

But, I support the Rockets no matter what, not the T-Wolves or the Magic or anyone else.

Jason Collier: would be released anyway
    Kelvin Cato: trade bait
    Cuttino Mobley: trade bait
    Steve Francis: trade bait
    Eddie Griffin:
James Posey: Les is a cheapass
Kenny Thomas: clear way for Eddie

None of them were released because of Yao.
