How will this board react when Andre Barrett gets waived?

    We have guaranteed money tied up into so many players that it will be tough to cut anyone else once people get healthy again.

    What's going to happen when the Rockets waive Andre Barrett? He seems to be just about the most popular guy on the team at this point. He plays hard and gets results, something that can't be said for most of the rest of the team.

    Will he get released? If he does, will Houston fans throw batteries at CD and Van Gundy? Or is there some way that they will be able to hang on to the guy for at least the rest of the season?

    With the way he is playing right now i find it hard to believe that JVG will waive him. If he does get waived or put on the IL then this board will go crazy and rightfully so.

    People might be very happy. According to his current performance, a big upgrade must be available to make Rockets waive Barrett.

    I would rather see Gaines go then get rid of a player with Boki's size that can play the 2 and hit a shot not like Gaines.

    Did anyone notice JVG putting in Gaines for like a second, and then taking his ass out in the final 20-30 seconds of the game? What kind of bonehead move was that?

    My guess is the fans would react pretty poorly, since it would probably happen after CD signs him to a 6-year deal with a 7th year player option.

    JVG said something interesting on his show today ...said AB was brought in more to push the rest of the team in practice then to contribute in actual games.
