Would anyone be opposed to Van Chancellor as Rockets coach?

    would anyone be opposed to van coaching the rockets?

    most people here want JVG fired. we all want phil jackson to take over, but the truth is he will not coach us if we are not in the western conference finals.

    i would like to throw vans name in the mix. he can't really commentate, but if you listen to what he says, the man knows bball. more importantly, he knows both sides of the ball.

    i belive that we will make the playoffs and JVG will not be fired. but things happen, and if JVG ends up fired this summer we need a plan B. i like avery, harris, and carlesemo too, but what do you think about van?

    Maybe now that Murphy is not guilty, he can take over the coaching duties.:)

    coaching on the NBA and WNBA are entirely different things. the games are completely different. Besides has Van ever coached a men's team. He coached women in college also. We can easily find someone better then him.

    TIMEOUT (team huddles)

    Van: "OK, hersh wat we goin to do. Get the bawl to McGrady, lets set a high shcreen and rowl and let him operwate by penetwrating to the hole then pass out for the 3-bawl."

    Team: "Wha?"

    ANOTHER TIMEOUT: (team huddles)

    Van: "OK, take the bawl out of Tmac's hands, set a down shcreen, let him come off the shcreen and either get the bawl down to Yao or shoot the 3-bawl."

    Yao: "What if they double me down low?"

    Van: "OK, Kim Perrot.. er, Lue penetwrate and pass out for the 3-bawl."

    TMac: "Whateva' dawg." (rolls eyes)

    PS. VC cannot even coach the Comets success without Cynthia Cooper. His draft picks has been terrible after Tina.

    Yao and Dikembe and Boki all have trouble speaking english as it is. Van is not needed unless with the help of translators for all of them
