    Doesn't matter whether Brown gets fired or not, Crane will just hire another GM who won't be allowed to do their job properly and has to work with constants roadblocks from ownership.

    There are very few of the positions available so there will always be willing candidates, but if you were a hot assistant GM I don't know why you would be jumping to work under Crane now.

    Like I've said, they've got probably close to 7.5 mil to spend, they can clear another 4.5 mil by trading Meyers. If they really want big money to spend then they can probably trade Javier. They probably can pay half of Walker's salary and that would give them around 40 mil to spend. That should be plenty of money to add Gausman/Lee/Nootbar. They would also be removing Arrighetti/Bluebaugh/Matthews etc... money from the books, so that would be another savings.
