BOSTON - Last week, Nancy Kerrigan's father won $1 million on a $5 scratch ticket. Dan Kerrigan bought the ticket Aug. 16, at Center Beverage package store in Stoneham. He was so disbelieving of his luck that he had store employees double-check it. "We were really happy for him,'' employee Dan Boffo said. "He's a nice guy and regular customer.'' Dan Kerrigan is a welder who worked extra jobs to pay for his daughter's skating lessons. Nancy Kerrigan won a silver medal in the 1994 Olympics after she was struck on the knee in an attack. Her chief rival, Tonya Harding, later pleaded guilty to covering up for her former husband and his friends, who planned and carried out the attack. ------------------ Don't you have anything better to do?
