BREAKING: LeBron James is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, Klutch Sports Group and Klutch CEO and Game Over show host Rich Paul tells ESPN.

The 76ers will enter the 2026-27 season with the NBA's two leaders in fast-break points from the previous season: Tyrese Maxey (382) at age 25 and LeBron James (343) at age 41.

    LeBron’s decision:
I thought I was done when the season ended. I wasn't ready to announce it, and I knew I needed some time to really decide, but I was pretty sure I played my last game. I was honest at that last press conference when I said I needed to look at myself and deicide if I still love this game. I still truly love this game, and I have more to give.

The last few weeks have really been special. I've never been able to have no clue what to do and take real time to just think. I've had an incredible few months with all the people I love trying to figure it all out. This is my last decision. I'm not going for money. I'm not going for family. What am I really playing for at this point?

I still want to sacrifice. I still want to work. I still want to grind. I still want to compete, to win and to have a chance at the feeling of winning another championship.

I believe I can help make the Philadelphia 76ers a championship team and I am so excited to energize a new fan base and start this incredible journey one last time.

Thank you LA. Miami l'II forever love and Northeast Ohio will always home!

I’m still perplexed why Houston didn’t try to get Jaylen Brown. In one offseason the Sixers have become a championship contender. All they had to do was fire their GM. Fertitta are you listening?

That was an upset. Yesterday Kalshi had Miami at 42 cents and Cleveland at 29 cents.

Gotta say this seems this best fit and best chance to grab one more ring for him.

    Maxey+Brown+Lebron+Embiid.

They should win the East for the next two years
BUT SOMEONE has to step up and BE THE CLOSER

Embiid won't have to do much
He can miss is normal 30+ games

Maxey-Brown-Lebron is still enough to win at least 75% of their games

I doubt Embiid will last the season and James showed signs last year that he is human after all, I imagine they will have injury issues all year long.

Don't forget VJ he's awesome. It's a really stacked team. Dean Wade is their big time defender. They have a bucket getter off the bench in Anfernee Simons. They really need to do something about the back up C position though.
